The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK's largest trade unions.
A vacancy exists for a Part-Time Affinity Relationships Administrator within our Media and Communications Department at Head Office.
The postholder will work on three days a week, either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday. The working pattern on those days will be agreed between the Union and the successful candidate.

The position is Grade 2, salary £31,773 pa rising to £38,054 pa (pro rata to £19,624 pa rising to £23,503 pa for a 21 hour week) after four years' service.
The principal duties are: under the direction of the Head of Media and Communications, to provide general support in dealing with the Union's Affinity Partners, and to increase the number of organisations offering services to our members.
The successful applicant will possess: the ability to communicate effectively; proofreading skills; IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, including the ability to set up and maintain databases; the ability to work without constant supervision and be able to handle several projects simultaneously; an understanding of the Data Protection Act/GDPR and how these relate to media and communications; strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with queries and complaints professionally.
