Arena puts membership issues at the heart of its four editions. The aim of the magazine is to keep Usdaw members informed of what is happening in the Union, its campaigns, the services and offers available to them and where they can go for help.

A diverse range of Usdaw members take centre stage by sharing their stories about legal wins, their passions and hobbies, as well as courageously raising awareness about living and working with serious health conditions and other issues that matter to them.

The first digital issue of Arena was launched in autumn 2023. 

The Spring edition of our award-winning Arena magazine includes an interview with general secretary Joanne Thomas, an Usdaw member who is a world champion athlete, information on family budgeting and online scams, and lots more.
