Doncaster Deaf Trust has spent 190 years supporting deaf people, and now they are offering an online British Sign Language course in the hope that, by providing a completely free, level one course in British Sign Language that you will be encouraged to have a go, learn some of the first language used by deaf people across the UK and so make the lives of deaf people everywhere so much better. british-sign.co.uk offers a range of free resources around signing and also provides a fee paying online course. Usdaw members can enrol on to the course for as little as £3. The online course, "Introducing British Sign Language" is an introduction to BSL and aims to give you the skills to understand sign and hold conversations in a range of basic topics.
