Keeping members safe at work is one of the key aims of Usdaw.

Extreme temperatures, both very hot and very cold, are a familiar problem for workers.

Whether you work indoors or outdoors, in the hot summers or in cold, we’ve got advice on your rights when the temperature is extreme.

Incidents of bullying and harassment have increased over the last few years. Usdaw reps are trained to help members who feel they are being bullied at work.

Usdaw has a number of leaflets with advice on what to do when a member faces bullying at work.

When accidents do happen, use FirstCall Usdaw to start your accident, injury or disease case. We’ll need your:

• Name and address
• Phone and email contact details
• Date of birth
• Date of the accident
• Usdaw membership number (not essential but can speed up the call)
