As an Usdaw member, you are eligible to join The Co-op Credit Union for access to competitive rates on loans, as well as savings schemes, member offers, help and free tools to support you with budgeting and the rising cost of living.
Membership is free through Usdaw and it can help you take control of your finances by helping you to save or saving you money if you’d like to borrow.
Affordable loans are available from £50 to £15,000 for any purpose – from holiday loans to Christmas loans, car loans, home improvement loans, or even consolidating higher cost debts from other lenders. And for those who may struggle to access credit, the Family Loan facility allows you to borrow up to £1,000 and use Child Benefit for repayments. You’ll also receive a dividend (like interest) on your savings.
Your credit union account can be managed on the web and via the new Nivo secure messaging app – it couldn’t be easier to take the worry out of money.

Please note – when joining online, tick “I am a member of” and select Usdaw from the dropdown menu. You’ll be asked to send proof of your Usdaw membership – just send a picture of your membership card.
The credit union is open 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
