Shopworkers’ trade union Usdaw has called on Marks and Spencer to immediately open up a dialogue with the union to ensure staff are properly represented through a reorganisation that will affect around 100 stores, with 60 set to close over the next five years.

Today Alliance Healthcare announced proposals to change their distribution network in Scotland. The Company are proposing to takeover and invest in an existing DHL (Boots) operation in Coatbridge which would mean the closure of the existing Alliance Healthcare site in Livingston.
